What is CART
A school where students enjoy “learning by doing” and thrive in an environment that promotes hands-on learning experiences.

CART Is…
…a program, and campus like no other. CART provides hands-on, project-based learning opportunities to juniors and seniors from 14 high schools, in Clovis and Fresno school districts. Founded in 1997, and launched in 2000, CART is a non-traditional beacon of learning for students interested in a career-specific pathway. Options at CART include fourteen different college and career-focused labs that offer academically rigorous, real-world projects specific to our students’ chosen pathways.

Message from the CEO
CART’s teachers and business partners have created an exciting, innovative and powerful learning environment for junior and senior high school students. Our students have the opportunity to apply what they have learned to solve problems.
Board Members
CART has our own Governing Board to help guide and direct our program. This dynamic seven-person group is made up of the superintendents from both Clovis Unified and Fresno Unified, a sitting board member from each district.
