Mr. Peterson has taught engineering, manufacturing, and robotics at CART since 2017 and has accumulated over 20 years of experience in the Central Valley of California as a Mechanical Engineer, Computer Numeric Control (CNC) operator and business owner.  Mr. Peterson is experienced in both the engineering and manufacturing fields and additionally has experience designing vending machines, incinerator emission scrubbers, exercise equipment, high-end lighting, race car transports, oilfield instrumentation, and has served as a consultant for engineering and prototyping projects.  Not only is he a habitual designer and Computer Aided Design (CAD) “junkie,” he enjoys working with manual mills and lathes, CNC mills and routers, laser cutters, 3D printers and other manufacturing equipment.  Mr. Peterson’s passion for engineering and manufacturing facilitates his continued involvement with current industry technology.
