Having been a student during CART’s very first year in the Law Lab, Candice has now returned as the Law Lab Instructor. She leverages her eleven-year background in legal services as a Legal Document Assistant (LDA), her background in national educational tours since 2020, and 20 years of local community engagement to teach the next generation of legal professionals. With nearly 20 years of experience across the legal, non-profit, and tourism industries, Candice provides her students with a wealth of real-world insight. As a former Legal Document Assistant (LDA) and owner of Hill’s Document Assistant for 11 years, she specialized in family law, living trust, small claims, civil litigation, contract law, collections, and legal filings. Her hands-on experience includes roles at the Public Defenders Office, her own legal business as a bonded LDA, and Lang Richert & Patch (LRP) law firm.
