CART hosts 2 Information Nights for prospective students and their families. These hour-long events allow interested students to visit the campus, see and meet with current students and instructors, and learn about the differences between Labs. These nights are during the application window, usually in late January and early February, before the application deadline.

CART students and staff will have the opportunity to give back to the community through a CART ONLY event. We will host the Central Valley Blood Center for a day of giving. . . blood.

In addition to CART Showcase at the end of the first semester, CART also hosts a spring Showcase known as Celebration of Student Success. During this exciting evening event students from several labs showcase their research and learning from the spring semester.

Each year CART is privileged to be able to offer scholarships and awards to very deserving seniors. Courtesy of very generous donations to the CART Foundation, business partners and community members, CART is able to award scholarships to qualified seniors who apply and are chosen by a committee of CART Staff. During this evening event CART Scholarship winners are highlighted and honored for their achievements.

A high-energy evening event for EMR students to showcase their skills and experiences from the year. Students will be running equipment demonstrations, launching aircraft, and presenting projects.

This exciting annual event features student entrepreneurs from the DME lab who will be selling products and services, including clothing, jewelry, yummy treats, tasty savory foods, delicious beverages, cool home décor, auto detailing and much more.

*CARDS and CASH accepted

Join us for the biotechnology lab's Open House and witness the achievements of our students. Discover the diverse range of projects and experiments they have passionately worked on throughout the year.

Come share your CART and Home School spirit with the community, while collecting community service hours! Students will participate by joining CART teachers during one, or both parades on a Saturday in December.

This is an opportunity for CART students to hang out in a non-academic setting. Games will be played, snacks will be provided, and a movie will be shown on the BIG screen in the CART Theater. This is a fun time for CART students and teachers alike.

At the beginning of the fall semester, parents and families are invited and encouraged to visit CART during Back to School Night. This is an opportunity to meet your student’s teachers, visit the lab and to see and hear about the unique teaching and learning opportunities their students will be participating in through the lab.

The CART College and Career Fair provides students with the opportunity to explore a wide range of post-secondary options, including colleges, universities, vocational schools, and career pathways. Students have the opportunity to interact with representatives to help them learn about all of their future options.

This is the Multimedia’s Lab’s version of the Academy Awards. Students are awarded for their creative and artistic efforts in film editing, storytelling, group work, and graphic design.

The Psychology and Human Behavior and Environmental Science and Field Research Laboratories would like to invite you to the annual research symposium on May 7th.

In the Psychology and Human Behavior Laboratory, our students have engaged in a rigorous research process—from reviewing literatureand designing studies to conducting research and analyzing data. At this event, students will present their findings on individual poster presentations and share their insights with a panel of professionals and community members. This is an excellent opportunity to interact with innovative student research across diverse topics, hear directly from students about their methodologies and discoveries, support and celebrate our students' achievements, and connect with CART’s academic community. The Psychology and Human Behavior Lab students will present their posters from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM.

In the Environmental Science and Field Research Laboratory, students have spent the spring semester working under the guidance of a local professional mentor to complete a research project. Students designed their project, developed a question to investigate, researched, and carried out scientifically relevant protocols to collect and analyze various types of data. We are excited to invite you to listen to students share about their findings from this process. The students in the Environmental Science and Field Research Laboratory will present their posters from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM

During this interactive event, students will share their recent trial roles with visitors followed by a dramatic performance of a criminal trial based on a Shakespeare play. The event will end with visitors acting as our jury to find the accused guilty or not guilty.

CART Showcase is the biggest and most exciting event CART hosts each year.  Both during the day and evening, all CART students display and showcase the knowledge and skills they have learned through their fall semester projects. Families, school district personnel, mentors, business partners, and the local community are all invited to join in this exciting opportunity.
