Biography
Dr. Watson has over 30 years of experience in education including teaching, counseling, and administration. He has served as the Administrator for Curriculum and Professional Development at the district level and as an administrator at both the high school and junior high school levels. He briefly served as the Dean of Curriculum and Instruction before becoming the CEO at CART. Mr. Watson received his Bachelor’s Degree in Botany and Master’s Degree in biology as well as his Teaching Credential in Science from Humboldt State University. He completed his Doctoral Degree in Organizational Leadership at California Coast University.
Mrs. Chandler is known by her students for her passion for clear, descriptive writing, and as the person who is a bit OCD, but who takes care of all the Lab’s little details. She came to CART in 2002 and loves how it allows her to work closely with students on their reading and writing skills, and with making a plan for their futures. Mrs. Chandler holds a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Linguistics from California State University, Fresno, and she holds a Masters of Art in Education from Fresno Pacific University.
