Law and Policy Learning Lab sponsored by McCormick Barstow LLP

Students in the McCormick Barstow Law &
Policy Lab examine the American legal system and its impact on every American’s life. They explore the current state of the law and forecast the changes that will occur in their lifetime. America’s influence on global legal issues is also considered. Students conduct community-based research and work with mentors from the legal community. They work to develop their advocacy skills in projects and take part in a mock criminal trial.

Student projects involve issues like student curfew, what rights do young people have, and how to make positive changes in the community.
