Engineering and Product Development Learning Lab
sponsored by Grundfos |

The Grundfos Product Development/Engineering Lab integrates English, Physics, CAD/CAM, and technology to help students prepare for a career in engineering, product development, product design, CAD and manufacturing. Students learn to apply real world knowledge, skills, and problem-solving techniques as they work individually and in teams to design product lines, develop manufacturing processes and facilities. Grundfos provides guest speakers for the lab to assist students in understanding safety, teamwork, production, professional attire, and workplace demeanor. Students also tour several local manufacturing sites throughout the year to see how ideas are developed, and how products are made and marketed.
