Biomedical Engineering Lab
sponsored by Kaiser Permanente |

During the chemistry year, Biomedical Engineering students explore questions about genetically engineered foods, DNA, microbes, plant tissue culture and how these topics influence both the problems and potential solutions for our society. Students conduct projects on health issues related to industry and the environment. During the physics year, Bioengineering students study engineering and it’s application to health related professions. Robotics, LASERs, remote sensing and data mapping using GIS, along with the building and testing of engineered solutions are all part of the student experience. This lab is strongly recommended as a beneficial experience for future engineers, doctors, nurses, pharmacists, radiologists and many types of health technicians.,This page is under construction.
