- Provide opportunities for students to acquire entry-level technological positions, industry standard certification, and/or university admission
- Establish collaborative partnerships with local, state, national and global businesses, private and public organizations, and higher education to
- empower the Center for Advanced Research and Technology to offer coursework that is responsive to challenges in business/industry
- provide the Center for Advanced Research and Technology with the fiscal capability to provide sophisticated technology environments that are consistent with industry standards
- Establish curriculum that infuses core academic standards into business and industry projects creating a seamless transition between school and the world of work and higher education
- Recruit, hire, and develop personnel with the vision, skills and knowledge to enable the Center for Advanced Research and Technology to achieve it's mission
- Provide educational experiences in emerging technology areas which offer premiere employment and business opportunities for graduates
- Facilitate long term learning by actively engaging students in their education
- Increase student achievement through application of academics, personal attention, real world projects experiences, and choice of career path exposure
- Provide job shadowing experience for every first year student; and an internship for every second year student
